International Customers – Customs & Import Duties

1. Who is responsible?

When you order from Lash Artistry Aesthetics and we ship your order internationally, please note:
• You (the customer) are responsible for any import/customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees that your country’s customs authority may levy upon delivery.

•These charges are not included in our product price, nor our shipping fee
•We (the seller) are not responsible for delays, returns, or extra costs resulting from customs clearance procedures in your country.

2. Why are these fees applied?
Customs duties and import taxes are charges collected by your country’s government when goods cross a border. These charges depend on the product classification, value, country of origin, shipping cost and the destination country’s tariff schedule.

3. How much might these fees be?
Because every country has its own rules, we cannot give an exact figure for each order. Below are typical guidelines:

•Duties: Many countries charge a percentage of the total value (including product + shipping) — e.g., 0 % up to ~30-40 % of value.
•Taxes: You may be charged e.g., VAT (value-added tax) or GST on the product + shipping + duties.

•De minimis thresholds: Some countries exempt very low-value imports from duties/taxes. E.g., UK VAT threshold, EU low-value goods tax rules.
DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid): We ship the goods, you pay any duties/taxes when your package arrives. If you refuse to pay, the shipment may be returned or destroyed at your cost.

Shipping delays & refused shipments
Customs can delay your parcel while assessing duties/taxes. If you refuse to pay fees and the parcel is returned to us, you may be responsible for the original shipping cost + return shipping + restocking fees.

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes and/or brokerage fees in your country. These are not included in your total and must be paid by you on delivery . Please check with your customs authority for estimations before purchasing.”
